Surgery
Times
We run a full appointment system. The surgery is open from 8.00am - 6.30pm Monday to Friday.
There are commuter surgeries on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings from 8.00 - 8.50am. To accommodate patients who find it difficult to make an appointment because of employment or other commitments and to conform to Government requirements, there will now be two doctors in attendance on a Tuesday evening and an additional clinic on Saturday morning with one doctor in attendance. Please note that both these clinics are pre-bookable appointments only.
The Tuesday evening commuter surgery is from 6.30 to 8.50pm and Saturday morning surgery is from 9.00 to 11.00am. The doctors do this clinic in rotation.

Diabetes Review
We are now changing the way we look after your diabetes. The practice nurse will see you for the full check-up after your blood tests. Your usual GP will have reviewed your records and results and will have advised the nurse on any changes in medication that will be required or recommended. This will have the advantage of you having to spend less time in the practice for your appointments but also that the doctor has thoroughly reviewed your records before your appointment. If we need to make changes we will write to you or advise the nurse as to the appropriate changes in medication.
Please let us know if you are not taking the medication in the doses as prescribed and the reasons so that we can advise you on appropriate treatment changes. Please ask for a telephone consultation at reception with your usual doctor.
