·         DOCTOR APPOINTMENTS
Appointments may be made by telephoning 020 8863 3333 or by calling in at the surgery. Telephone lines are open from 8:00am to 1pm and 2pm to 6:30pm Monday to Friday.

Pre-Bookable Appointments

Every Tuesday evening, appointments will be released for the following week. These appointments can also be booked via the telephone automated system or through the Online Service. (N.B. you must be registered to use our online service - please enquire at Reception).

 Duty Doctor

A Duty Doctor is on call daily to deal with emergencies which otherwise cannot wait until the next day. These appointments are booked on the day but once we have reached our capacity, you may be asked to go to the walk-in clinics at the Pinn Medical Centre, Alexandra Clinic or the Urgent Care Centre at Northwick Park Hospital. (See details below)

 Telephone Consultations

All urgent telephone enquiries are dealt by the Duty Doctor. If you feel that your problem can be solved by talking to a doctor, then let the Receptionist know and they will arrange for a doctor to call you back. If you need to speak to a specific doctor, please be aware that you may not receive a call back on the same day but will be returned within two working days

Reception staff will make every effort to book you an appointment with the doctor of your choice but if this is not possible, you will be offered an appointment with another doctor.

For follow-up appointments, it may not always be possible to see the same doctor but as your records and results can be viewed in surgery by all clinicians, your review can be carried out by any doctor at the practice.

Need an urgent GP appointment?

If you urgently need to see a GP and cannot get an appointment, go instead to one of the walk-in services putting on extra appointments.

The urgent "walk-in" appointments don't need to be booked in advance and are available 7 days a week from 8am to 8pm at:

  • Alexandra Clinic for Health and Social Care, 275 Alexandra Avenue, HA2 9DX
  • The Pinn Medical Centre, 37 Love Lane, HA5 3EE

Surgery Times

We run a full appointment system. The surgery is open from 7.30am - 6.30pm Monday to Friday.

To accommodate patients who find it difficult to make an appointment because of employment or other commitments and to conform to Government requirements, there are two doctors and a nurse on a Tuesday evening with a health care assistant also in attendance on alternate weeks. Please note that both these clinics are pre-bookable appointments only.

The Tuesday evening commuter surgery is from 6.30 to 8.50pm. The doctors run this clinic in rotation.
