Antenatal (with community midwives)
Childhood immunisations and developmental checks (with the health visiting team)
Diabetic checks
BP checks (by pre-booked appointment or self-check by patient)
Asthma management
COPD management
Anti-coagulant control (warfarin/INR monitoring)
Travel advice and vaccination (including yellow fever) (Private appointments available)
Phlebotomy
Carers' health checks
Flu vaccination (October - December) for those aged over 65 or patients considered at risk
New patient medical checks
Optional healthchecks for registered patients who have not been seen at the surgery for three years or more
Minor surgery
Laser and cryotherapy treatment
Acupuncture
Family planning, cervical smear tests and coil fittings
Dermatology
Sports Medicine
Medication review
Physiotherapy and dietetic management/advice are available following referall by your GP. A private chiropody service is also available.
The recommended site for vaccination of infants under the age of 12 months is the anterolateral thigh.
TWO injections can be administered IM into the same limb. The distance between the two injections should be at least 25mm apart to minimise chances of any local reactions overlapping.
