HOW DO I...
MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?
The practice has an automated telephone system which enables you to book, re-arrange or cancel a doctor's appointment during normal working hours, as well as when the surgery is closed, without speaking to a receptionist (except between 1.00 to 5.30am). In order to use the system, you will be required to enter your date of birth and telephone number. During normal surgery opening times, you will have the option of booking an appointment through Patient Partner/Voice Connect or by speaking to a receptionist. To ensure that you can use the service, please advise the practice of all your current telephone numbers.
Please inform the clinician you are seeing if you require a chaperone during your consultation.
Appointments may be made by telephoning 020 8863 3333 or by calling at the surgery.
Routine appointments may be made in advance (maximum two weeks) which will enable us to offer you an appointment at a time more suitable to your requirements.
Telephone consultations are also available with a doctor of your choice.
If you cannot keep an appointment, please inform us as soon as possible as this will assist in oversubscribed situations.
Commuter Surgeries
To accommodate patients who find it difficult to make an appointment because of employment or other commitments and to conform to Government requirements, there will be either two doctors or one doctor plus a health care assistant in attendance on Tuesday evenings and an additional clinic on Saturday mornings with one doctor in attendance. Please note that both these clinics are pre-booked appointments only.
The Tuesday evening commuter surgery is from 6.30pm to 8.50pm and Saturday morning surgery is from 09:00am to 11:00am. The doctors do this clinic in rotation.
Duty Doctor's Surgeries
There is a duty doctor on call daily available to deal with the needs of patients which otherwise cannot wait for an appointment throughout the course of the week. These appointments are booked on the day but have shorter appointment times so everyone can be accommodated. This doctor is also available to give telephone advice.
HOW DO I...
OBTAIN A HOME VISIT?
Patients are requested to telephone before 10.30am if a visit is required
that day. Emergency visits only will be arranged after that time. Please give
the receptionist as much information as possible to enable the doctor to allocate
priority to house calls. Please remember that several patients can be seen at
the surgery in the time that it takes to do a home visit.
HOW DO I...
OBTAIN TEST RESULTS?
Results of blood tests and x-rays usually take a week to come back from the
hospital.
Please telephone on 020 8863 5665 between 1.30 and 4.00pm where
a message will be left for you by your doctor.
