DOCTORS
Dr Leonard Peter (M) MBBS FRCGP DCH DRCOG (London 1974)
Dr Peter has been a partner in the practice since 1978. Among his interests is advancing information technology in medical practice. He is also the Medical Officer for Wilsmere House, a local nursing home for younger disabled people and frail elderly people and has a special interest in spinal medicine and rehabilitation.
Dr Chris Robinson (M) MBChB MRCGP DRCOG (Dundee 1977)
Dr Robinson has been a partner in the practice since 1981 and is one of our GP trainers. He has a particular interest in sports medicine and is himself a keen sportsman.
He looks after two nursing homes, Rowanweald and Oakleigh House. He also offers acupuncture to his patients.
Dr Bhandari has been a partner
in the practice since 1995. She offers acupuncture to patients to treat a variety
of conditions. She looks after the residents of Woodland Hall - a home for elderly
and mentally infirm. She teaches obestrics and gynaecology to undergraduates from
The University College London School of Medicine.
Dr Sonal Shah (F) BSc (Hons) MBChB MRCGP DRCOG (Manchester 1992)
Dr Shah has been a partner in the practice since 1997. Her particular
interest is in dermatology, having gained a diploma on the subject at The University
of Wales. She teaches undergraduate medicine to students from Imperial College,
School of Medicine and dermatology, obstetrics and gynaecology to undergraduates
from University College London, School of Medicine.
Dr Noreen Ryan (F) BSc (Hons) MBBS MRCGP DRCOG (London 1996)
Dr Ryan joined the practice
as a registrar in 1999, and became a partner in 2002. She trained at St Mary's
Hospital, Paddington. She has a special interest in undergraduate teaching and
is a tutor for the Royal Free and University College, London.
Dr Argent joined the practice as a Registrar in 2004 and continued
working at the Medical Centre as an Associate General Practitioner before becoming
a partner in 2009. She has a keen interest in undergraduate teaching and
teaches undergraduate medicine to students from Imperial College, London.
Dr Beverly Peter (F) MBBS FRCGP DCH DRCOG (London 1975)
Dr Peter was a partner in the practice from 1979. She is still available for
consultation two sessions per week. She continues to work as a GP appraiser and for
Imperial College School of Medicine.
In addition, there are Associate General Practitioners who are fully trained and qualified doctors.
Dr Afrosa Ahmed (F) MBBS DCH MRCGP (London 2000)
Dr Ahmed joined the practice in 2007. She trained at Guy's and St Thomas's Hospital, London. She assists the practice with undergraduate teaching and has a particular interest in women's health issues.
Dr Meera Srirangalingam (F) MBChB MRCGP DRCOG (Leicester 2000)
Dr Srirangalingam has worked at the practice since February 2008.
Dr Sujatha Sathiamurthy (F) MBBS MRCGP DRCOG DFFP (London 2004)
Dr Sathiamurthy has worked at the practice since November 2009. She has an interest in women’s health and enjoys teaching undergraduate students.
Dr Sharanjit Takher
Dr Takher Trained at Imperial College London. He first came to the practice in 2006 as a trainee foundation two doctor. Having been inspired into general practice by this he trained as a General Practitioner with a particular interest in paediatrics and rejoined the practice in 2010. He is now involved in the care of residents at a nursing home for neurodisability, in teaching medical students from both Imperial College and University College London and in joint injections and minor surgery.
The Practice Staff
Les Cowens has been our Practice Manager since 1996; he is responsible for all non-clinical aspects
of the Practice.
Meena Bodalia is the Assistant Practice Manager. She deputises for the Practice Manager in his
absence.
Marian Coyne, Julie Bastian and Karen Linch are the Practice Secretaries; they are responsible for our secretarial and PA requirements.
Jay Patel is the IT and Data Manager, she is supported by Ann Fisher and Sue Dollman.
Farida Aslam and Gigi Lubin are the Reception Supervisors and are supported by a team of very efficient staff including Eileen Kelly, Mireille Papet, Lynda Da Cova, Jackie DaCosta, Linda Walters, Angie Jacob, Debbie Luker and Petra Whorwood. The team are here to assist clinicians and patients alike.
Emma Hegarty and Victoria Hudson share their time between reception and health care assistant duties.

General
Practitioner Registrar and Students
Our practice
is a training and teaching practice. Our registrars are fully qualified and have
a great deal of hospital experience. Registrars are attached to our practice and
usually become general practitioner partners after completing their training.
They are
at all times encouraged to seek advice when required from the practice partners.
We are also fortunate to have medical students attached to our practice for short
periods. When booking an appointment you may be asked if you would consult with
our registrar who is an excellent doctor appointed by the practice.
